My name is Agnieszka Wormus, I am the owner of A Brilliant Photo, and this beautiful space in the heart of Basel.
It feels like I have been doing photography my entire life, but I officially started my company in 2006. I’ve been a very sucessful wedding photographer in Boston and once we moved to Colorado, I was part of a wonderful photographer community and shared a studio with lots of other creative souls. I got into model & commercial photography and did a ton of family shoots on the side. After 14 year in the US we moved back to the Basel area where I grew up. It has always been my dream to have a photography studio and this space caught my eye.
I don’t really believe in “competition”, I much rather open up my doors to other creatives and seek fun discussions and love to exchange experiences. Every creative has a different approach, every style is so different – there is no reason we can’t share a space.
Are you curious about the studio, but don’t know if you will need it? Come visit me (but let me know ahead)! I will be SO happy to show you around! No worries, no need to commit to anything, I just want to offer you some peace of mind that you can bring your clients to a spot other than your or their home and an option to shoot inside … in a space that you can make your own. Be creative, move some furniture around, use the available backdrops or bring in yours!
